The personal history has the function of our past.

 

Seventy years ago I was present.

1940-2010 seventy years during which I was present and participated by ordinary citizens.

 

From 10 June 1940 to 10 June 2010

 

What does it mean to participate as ordinary citizen in events in the history of our Country.

You are present while the events happen.

You bear the consequences of events that happened in your Country.

You pay for the events that happened in your Country.

Your relatives are charged like you for events that happen in your Country.

The concept of Country has limited, because each man pays for events that happen throughout the world.

We live without to know what this costs the management of the world for each of us.

Manage ourselves and manage the world: they are abstract concepts, for us outsiders.

Thus many events happen, even if they are negative facts for each of us. The facts are not in our management capacity.

I was born June 4, 1940, just six days before Italy declared war on France and Britain.

I went into this adventure because it happened, or did this had to happen to me.

The war led to my early childhood and seventy years later I still pay the price of a choice that was not mine.

Start living was not my choice.
